Product Designs for Hobrecht Golf Art
Overview
During this series of projects, I had the photographed different merchandise in order to create product mockups. These items included magnet hats, patch hats, hoodies, canvas and wood prints. Over 50 golf courses across the US had been painted by Dave Hobrecht and each were mocked up onto the different products.
Magnet hats consists of a beveled magnet that can be attached onto the hat with a thin magnet strip sewn into the apparel. The magnet is slightly beveled with a semi-gloss film covering the artwork. The patch hats have a sewn strip of pleather and the artwork is hot pressed onto the material. After photographing both products, I used smart objects in Adobe Photoshop to easily interchange the 50+ golf courses while maintaining a unified look on Hobrecht’s website. This same process was used for all of the products to create a consistent look and workflow.
